Rue Larbi Ben M’Hidi

Rue Larbi Ben M’Hidi is one of the main commercial and historic streets in central Algiers. Formerly called Rue d’Isly, the street runs through Alger Centre between the Grande Poste area and Avenue Pasteur. It is lined with historic architecture, cafés, shops and cultural landmarks, and is crossed by Place Émir Abdelkader, making it a popular urban walking route.
