Ras El-Tin Gardens are the formal gardens surrounding the historic Ras El-Tin Palace on Alexandria’s Mediterranean coast. The gardens cover about 12 feddans and feature landscaped grounds, rare flowers, bird kiosks and recreational areas. The palace complex dates to the 19th century and was an important summer residence of Egypt’s Muhammad Ali dynasty.
