Karen Blixen Museum

Karen Blixen Museum is a historic house museum in Nairobi’s Karen suburb, at the foot of the Ngong Hills. It was the former home of Danish author Karen Blixen, who lived there from 1917 to 1931. The museum preserves period furnishings, farm equipment and gardens associated with her life and the history described in Out of Africa.
