Entoto Maryam Church

Entoto Maryam Church is one of the oldest Ethiopian Orthodox churches in Addis Ababa, located on the historic Entoto Mountains. Founded in 1877 by Emperor Menelik II, the octagonal church features traditional Ethiopian architecture, colorful decorations, and historic religious artwork. The surrounding site includes a museum displaying royal belongings of Menelik II and Empress Taytu, along with panoramic views of Addis Ababa.
