Debre libanos Orthodox Church is a historic Ethiopian Orthodox monastery located about 110–130 km from Addis Ababa. Founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot, the site is known for its church, stained-glass windows, religious heritage, mountain scenery and nearby Jemma River Gorge. A day trip can also include the nearby Portuguese Bridge and scenic viewpoints.
