Dakar Railway Station
Listing Description
Dakar Railway Station (Gare de Dakar) is a historic railway landmark in Dakar-Plateau and the central terminal of Senegal’s modern TER network. The original railway station dates to 1885, while the present colonial-style building was constructed in 1913–1914. After years of closure, it was rehabilitated for the TER and reopened for passenger service in 2019.
