Constitutional Square

Constitutional Square is a historic two-acre public green space in the heart of Kampala’s Central Business District. Formerly known as City Square, it was renamed Constitutional Square on 8 October 1995, the day Uganda’s 1995 Constitution was promulgated. The square contains historic memorials and is surrounded by important judicial and government institutions.
