Church Square

Church Square is the historic heart of Pretoria and one of the city’s most important heritage landmarks. Established in the 19th century, the square is surrounded by notable historic buildings including the Palace of Justice, Old Raadsaal, General Post Office and former Netherlands Bank. At its centre is the prominent Paul Kruger statue, making the square a popular place to experience Pretoria’s architecture and history.
