Borj Adoumoue

Borj Adoumoue, also known as the Bastion of Tears, is a historic coastal fortress in Salé, Morocco. The bastion formed part of the city’s defensive system and features historic cannon emplacements overlooking the Atlantic and Bouregreg River mouth. Its location beside the old medina provides panoramic views toward Rabat and the Kasbah of the Udayas, making it an important heritage landmark.
