Alem Gena forest area

Alem Gena is a highland area in the Oromia Region southwest of Addis Ababa, known for its rural landscapes, eucalyptus and woodland areas, agricultural surroundings and mountain scenery. The locality lies along the Addis Ababa–Jimma road and can be combined with nearby countryside attractions for a short nature excursion. It is more of a regional forest area than a formal park.
