Mount Zuqualla day trip

Mount Zuqualla is an extinct volcanic mountain about 70–80 km southeast of Addis Ababa. Rising to nearly 3,000 meters, it features a forested crater, the sacred Lake Dembel and a historic Ethiopian Orthodox monastery near the summit. A day trip combines mountain hiking, religious heritage, Rift Valley views, birdwatching and wildlife, making it a full-day outdoor excursion.
