Ouidah day trip

Ouidah is one of Benin’s most important historical and cultural destinations, combining the history of the transatlantic slave trade with living Vodun traditions. A day trip from Cotonou can include the Route of the Captives, Door of No Return, Temple of the Pythons, Kpassè Sacred Forest, Ouidah Museum and Afro-Brazilian architecture. Ouidah is about 40 km from Cotonou.
