Institut des Musées Nationaux du Congo

The Institut des Musées Nationaux du Congo (IMNC) is the Democratic Republic of Congo’s public institution responsible for protecting, conserving, studying and promoting the country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Founded in 1970, it manages national museums and collections across the DRC, including the National Museum of the DRC in Kinshasa.
