Owino Art Market

Owino Market, officially St. Balikuddembe Market, is one of Kampala’s largest and busiest traditional markets. Established in 1971, it developed from a wholesale produce market into a huge commercial centre selling clothing, shoes, food, textiles, electronics, bags, crafts and household goods. Located in central Kampala near Nakivubo Stadium and major transport terminals, it offers a vivid experience of everyday Ugandan commerce.
