Listing Description

Place Bab El Had is a historic square surrounding one of Rabat’s most important Almohad gates. Built in the late 12th century under Caliph Yaacoub El Mansour, Bab El Had protected the southwestern entrance to the Medina. The square remains a lively urban meeting point, surrounded by traditional shops, markets, cafés, and busy Medina streets.
