Abdiaziz District, also spelled Abdi Aziz, is one of Mogadishu’s established districts in the Banaadir region. It lies close to the Somali Sea and includes parts of the city’s historic urban area. The district contains residential neighborhoods, commercial activity and important coastal locations, including the Liido area. It is officially recognized as one of Mogadishu’s municipal districts.
