Plage de Mamelles

Plage de Mamelles is a scenic Atlantic beach in Dakar, situated beneath the famous Mamelles hills and near the historic Mamelles Lighthouse. The beach offers a relatively natural coastal setting for relaxation, walking, photography and enjoying ocean views. Its surroundings also have cultural significance for local Lebou communities, who traditionally use parts of the area for rituals.
